Sometimes when i sleep my calf muscle will get really tight and i will move it in a way that would flex it and it gets stuck in that position and is very very very painful. I will sit silently screaming for probably a minute until it stops being so extremely tight. All it does is get really tight but to the point. Is this normal? Whats going on?
I play sports at night and could be possibly going to bed still warm if that would have any effect
No.
You will need to do some stretching of the foot, achilles tendon & calf & most leg muscles Over time this will prevent this nasty spasm.
The corner of an ice pack will work as a very effective acupressure tool for trigger / acupressure points (sore spots size of marble)
i agree with digital. you have to stretch it. i know it hurts (i worked out yesterday and my legs are killin me) but stretching it will help alot. also drink water and make sure you get some potassium in ya. it helps alot. hope i helped. : )
